Shooting outside

In the first picture i see a label for black and white film on the grass. It's square and it's fading. Probably from rain and people stepping on it. There's also a shadow on it and sun on the right side of the picture.

In the second picture, the first thing i see is the sun shining. The camera is looking up at a tree and the sun is sort of consuming the tree with its rays of sunlight. I can also see braches with green leafs. It's a very beautiful picture.

In the third picture i see semi-dry mud. I see a large green leaf on the ground next to some footprints. There is a straw sticking out of the ground and the angle of the camera makes the straw touch the leaf.

In the fourth picture i see a shiny bright blue gum wrapper on the ground next to a pattern on the ground which is a lid for a hole on the ground. The camera seems as if its on the ground. I can also see some bushes on the background that are far away. Also some shadows made by trees.

In the fifth picture i see gum stuck on the wall and something is stuck on it. I see a pretzel stuck on it. It's hanging at the end of it. The camera is looking up at it from below. There is also a pole next to the wall.

In the sixth picture i see a shopping cart inside some kind of room. The camera is looking at the shopping cart through a fence because you can see the fence very close up.

I really liked this project. We got to go outside. The concept of this was to notice things and to find something interesting to shoot. I noticed things I've never noticed before and if something wasn't interesting, i somehow made it interesting. My favorite pictures were the one with the gum wrapper and the shopping cart one. I really liked the angles. This project was interesting.

Strobe

In the first picture, i see Christian playing the violin thing. It looks like he is happy to be playing because he is smiling. I see his shadow on the wall behind him and i see some kind umbrella shade at the top of the frame. I can also see part of a tree and the sky in the top right corner.

In the second picture i see a girl that seems to be in some kind of dance position. It looks like she just ended a dance. She has her hand in the air and it looks like she on her tippy toes. In the background i see some stair and the grand theater.

In the third picture i see my friend Tati and she's sitting a table drawing. I see her shadow behind her on the wall and she has a bandanna on. She has necklaces she's wearing a jacket with square designs on it.

I really liked these pictures because they tie in to one subject. It's what our school is about. Art, dance and music. I really liked using strobe. I loved the look of it and i liked how i could use it in many different ways to make the photo look different. This was technically my first real photoshoot because i used equipment for the first time and i shot with only one subject in mind.

Photoshop assignment

In this picture i see man standing on the planet earth. He is prettty much wearing nothing. He is holding an object in his hand. It seems like a walking stick with a heart and wings on it. He is wearing a hat.
I took the picture of the man and then i used the magnetic lasso tool to cut out the earth. I then used the magic wand tool, i think, and traced his foot so that you could still see his foot even though he is standing on the earth.
This picture has a lot of yellow. It has different shades of yellow because you have to be able to tell what is in the picture.
I really like this picture because i was able to to show that the man is standing on the earth and his foot didn't cut off or something. Photoshop is a very nice program and i would like to learn how to use it more.

The real friend

In this photograph i see Jennifer holding an umbrella over Janelle. Jennifer doesn't really have an expression on her face and neither does Janelle. Jennifer is wearing a jacket and Janelle is wearing a shirt with many squares on it. I also see that Janelle is holding another umbrella and she's kind of supporting herself on it. Janelle is wearing bracelets.
All the things in the photograph are placed on the left. At least their bodies are. The umbrella is in the center of the paper. this photograph is in focus on purpose so that the audience can see the photograph clearly. Most of the lights seem to be on Jennifer's hands. This photograph was taken indoors.
My message in this photograph was that its hard to find a real friend who will support you no matter what. By holding the umbrella over her head means that she is protecting her from some kind of storm. Friendship is very important. If there are problems in a friendship, It will have a good outcome because you can prove if that friendship is true. Its not easy to break real friendships.
This photograph was a very good one because of the message it has. I really liked it. It was my first photograph that i had taken with two people. I'm proud of it.

Fading Memories

In this picture i see Janelle sitting. I can't really see what she's sitting on. She has her feet up on something. She has a shirt with many squares. She is wearing some bracelets. her face has the most light out of the whole photograph. She is holding an umbrella. The umbrella tilts to the back of her head. I also see her shadow in the background.
All the things in the photograph are placed in the whole page. Everything seems to be centered. The picture is in focus intentionally. This picture has a fading effect at the bottom with was not intentional. Her face has the most light in the photograph. This photograph was taken indoors.
Since the photograph turned out to have a fading effect, i decided i should take advantage of that effect so i came up with the name "Fading Memories".
This photograph was very good overall. I really liked the effect it has and it really matched this photograph. If it was some other photograph, i don't think the fading effect would have been that great. I am very proud of this photograph.

Going around and around

What I see in this picture, is a girl spinning around holding her jacket with both hands. The jacket seems to be spinning around with her. I see her shadow on the floor and somebody in the background. The background looks empty.
She is placed on the right side of the paper. The left side of the paper seems kind of empty.
This picture doesn’t have a meaning… I just randomly took it.
This picture seems kind of boring but I liked it. I think it would be much better if it were darker.

With just a flip of my hair...

In this picture I see a girl flipping her hair. She is looking straight at the camera with her hair up in the air. I also see somebody behind her. I see trees in the background and benches.
She seems to be placed in the middle of the paper but her hair is almost at the top of the paper. This picture is too light.
This picture doesn’t really have a meaning… But because of her hair I would guess that it kind of tells me to be free.
This picture was a very good picture but it was too light.
